DREAM JOB to Screen at Rockies Shred Fest
DREAM JOB TO SCREEN
AT ROCKIES SHRED FEST
By Crowfoot Media
New this year at the 5th annual Rockies Shred Fest, stand-up comedian and filmmaker Katie Burrell will be joining us live to present the Banff screening of DREAM JOB after our films in competition.
A comedy documentary about a girl working in the ski industry who decides to become one of the stars, DREAM JOB begs the question – they go up, they go down, how hard can it be? The film follows comedian Katie Burrell through “days in the life” with three of the industry’s biggest names: Leah Evans, founder of Girls Do Ski, Christina Lustenberger, ex-Olympian and big mountain skier, and Diny Harrison, the first fully certified female guide in North America. Needless to say, she finds out how hard it really can be.
Co-hosted with Capow Guiding, in partnership with Ski Big 3, Crowfoot Media’s fifth annual Rockies Shred Fest takes over Wild Bill’s on October 17, 2019! A sold-out event in its first four years, Shred Fest is a pre-season gathering hosted in collaboration with Capow Guiding, featuring the “best of” local ski and snowboard films, a winter expo, prizes, giveaways, and more!
10% percent of ticket sales goes to Avalanche Canada.
