Event Recap: To the Ends of the Earth

Photos by Kahli April Photography

On May 21, 2017, 135 people ducked into the cool, dark space of the Heritage Gallery at the Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies for a memorable night of stories and images with Banff-based photographer, Paul Zizka. Here’s a photo recap, thanks to Kahli April Photography.

To the Ends of the Earth took us around the globe, from the seaside cliffs of the Faroe Islands to the wild landscapes of Antarctica. It took us behind-the-scenes of Paul’s photography and into his challenges, passions and goals. Finally, it took us home, to the Canadian Rockies, through a short video compiling Paul’s best work from the region. Thanks to everyone who joined us – all ticket sales went towards the Whyte Museum photo programs. And thanks to the Banff Ave. Brewing Co. for keeping us cool on one of the warmest days of the year so far!
