IN THE CANADIAN ROCKIES

MEANING BEHIND OUR BUSINESS NAME

The Crowfoot Glacier clings proudly to Crowfoot Mountain on the banks of Bow Lake in the heart of Banff National Park. It is an iconic piece of Rockies geography, a relic of times past and, by geological standards, quickly disappearing. With two toes out of three remaining, the Crowfoot Glacier is both a statement of the present and a connection to the past.

Crowfoot Media draws its name from this glacier, and draws inspiration from its position at the headwaters of the Bow River. Like this glacier, Crowfoot Media taps into the source of mountain culture in the Canadian Rockies, and sends it flowing downstream, connecting people with the stories and spirit of this place.
